This stork was an unexpected visitor on the tip of a turret on the local church in Le Dorat, France.

The quality isn't that good, but the conditions weren't ideal.

Alex, you're very right about the white on grey, and in this case I was also hand-holding with a relatively long lens (300mm) and low light, so I couldn't entirely prevent the effects of camera shake. But I'm glad you like the pose, which I thought was quintessentially stork-like!
