I came upon this spring flower and noticed the colorful center containing it's pistil and stammens. I thought it pretty so took a macro of it.

Hi Kathy, thought it was a white tulip opened wide in the sunshine. Had never heard of Dutchman's Iris, but it sounds like it might be a joke ?

Thanks Alandra...Someone said it may be a Duchman's Iris, would you know? The petals on this were thicker than some of the delicate flowers I've seen. Had a nice silky feel to them.
