Thank you Vicki for the really nice comment.I was just thinking about him yesterday so it was nice to get your comment. Approximately this time 8 years ago that he went missing and 3 months of searching before I found him. I hope I never have to go through that again or anybody else.

No wonder I missed this in January - we were really limited on computer time!

This is a lovely tribute to your dear Vinnie, Cindy. I'm so sorry for your personal loss - and more sorry for those with such tainted souls of their own for such a horrible act. They must not like themselves very much.

Thank you so much for sharing Vinnie with us. Vicki

Thanks Karien and Talsi, I thought I would try something different from the sepia look. Vinnie and Lincoln are both Meremma's, an Italian breed. The worst thing having him shot was that it was done for the 'fun' of it and when I approached them 3 times, they insisted they had not seen my dog.

It's always hard to lose a pet - but to have hime shot is awful. Nice remembrance.

Sorry about your loss. Some humans are worse than animals. One day it will be judgement day and there is no getting away from it.So rest assured that one who shot your dog will be standing in front of GOD one day and then he will have to answer for what he did.

Greetings

Sorry John, I am sure there is a breeder in Napier. I got both Vinnie and Lincoln from a reg.reputable breeder in Christchurch. I paid $600 for Vinnie and $700 for Lincoln. I'm sure she would have puppies available now too. P/M me if you'd like her email. We just had a litter from Lincoln on Xmas day but not pure breds and homes are found for them.

Do You Have any puppies coming up and what do you charge?

Thanks for nice words again. I lost Vinnie 8 years ago after he had been shot and thrown over a river bank. After 3 months of searching and $800 in advertising, a reward prompted someone to let me know where he was. He is now buried on the hill in the photograph. Vinnie is my present dog, Lincoln's grandad.(he still brings a tear to my eye :(

another lovely image. We miss our much loved animal friends so much when we have to part with them. How long has Vinnie been gone?
