Snowy Owl Performing, (see my feathered feet?)

Snowy Owl, having a good laugh :) --(yawning really, I think) today in our area. Was surprised to see this one still here, - only one we saw there today, and lately none have been seen. Please note the beautiful feathered feet (and claws/talons)

hoping yet again that the snowy owls will overwinter here this year, as it's been 2 years now since they were here.

thanks again, Anne, and Carol also, I just noticed your comment here too :) -- it is comical. They have faces that make a person want to smile.

Hi Fella, good to hear from you, many thanks. Surprised they aren't in your area, as its not that far. I guess they just stop of here and remain here for the winter, without flying any further south. I guess it's a long flight anyway, getting this far, and then having to return to their nesting grounds.

lol, Don, thanks for the nice comments. Well, as long as none of these critters don't decide to swoop down on me, they can laff all they want :) One great horned owl did fly towards me quite low one evening in the other area :)
