Thanks for giving me the chance to explain. This was the War of 1812. The blue and the red mean nothing. All the people gathered around the cannon are on the American side. It was the American's verses the British. The War of 1812 was our chance to show that the American Revolution was not just a fluke that we could beat the British. It was also over impressment of our sailors. Our group reenacts the baratarians and other regiments on the American side at the Battle of New Orleans. The baratarians, under Jean Lafitte, helped save the day at the Battle of New Orleans which helped make Jackson President of the United States.
