For some reason as I was submitting the image, suddenly thought the iris was purple, but then decided it was deep blue, but had to wait til the photo appeared before being able to alter the title :) It is a gorgeous colour.

thankyou Golda, for the nice comment. I was quite pleased with these images. But it's not my new macro lens, as I returned it and got a 16-35 extra wide angle lens instead. I just somehow felt that macro lens wasn't right for me. This lens is one I've had for nearly a year, so decided to use it for some flower images.
