Opposite the east end of Lincoln's cathedral is this beautiful green, with a row of old houses unchanged for at least 200 years.

I've added a slight Orton effect to emphasise the timelessness of this view, bathed in the last rays of evening spring sunshine.

Thanks, Carol and Golda. I think the Orton effect does work well here, although I think my favourite Orton photo so far is the one of the east end of the cathedral in Lincoln.
