Enchanted Muck

: Enchanted Muck; The 2-tone algae caught my eye in the pond. This was a morning shot on my way home from work and I though it was interesting and pretty, while uninviting at the same time. I sure wouldn't want to take a dip in there. Well, tha algae does give a different and unusual view, but it is rather pretty until you know what it is.

pretty capture and the title is great also : ) I notice algae where the herons feed too, and wondered how healthy it is. People dump all kinds of stuff in those streams, we saw a propane tank in one of them, not far from the heron.
