thanks Alex and Mary. I think it's just the "purposeful" way they strut around, Mary : ) He was hurrying to get across the pathway, over into the more leafy area, to hide a bit. The yellow pheasant had gone across there a couple minutes earlier, so he was catching up, - they hang out together it seems. Cute
