On our recent visit to the Columbus Zoo, we took my 22-month-old granddaughter, Annika to see a Manatee. She bumped her nose rather badly when a small sting ray approached her, so was still in some pain, but stopped crying when her mom, Sarah, showed her the gentle giant relishing sea lettuce. (It's reflection is visible in their inset photo). This is her new "tired" mode - using her shirt to cover her thumb in her mouth!!!
