Photo was taken near Grand Rapids Minnesota. This owl was sitting in a ditch looking for food. I love the "tree" it decided to sit on-I think it adds more character to the picture. Winter of 04-05, we had owls everywhere. They came down from Canada searching for food. The owls were out at all times of the day and night. I was able to get many great shots.
