You asked about my new macro lens. It's a bit early days to give a definitive answer, but so far I'm very happy with it. As with all sensors with high megapixel counts, my D200, and I suspect your D80, gives results that look a bit soft at first, and they need some judicious sharpening during post-processing to really look their best. Let's put it this way, I won't be sending it back!
