Thanks Karen and Bill. Bill, I finally figure out that you have to shoot at f8 with the 100x400L to get a clean shot. I've only had the lense a couple of months. A little disapointing that it is so soft wide open. Well, that's what they make high ISOs for I guess ...lol. Don
