Northern FlickerBeautiful Northern Flicker feeding at the suet cake holder, this is specially for the woodpecker type birds so that their tails rest against the paddle below, enabling them to balance more easily as they feed.

These birds have such lovely bright red markings plus a lot of red/orange feathers in their tail that flashes as they fly away, and under their wings also, I think.
