Thank you. I took this photo about two years ago, and have toyed with posting it. As time has gone on, the shot has grown on me, and I felt compelled to share it. Have to agree with the sense of loneliness, danger and I would add committment/passion/dedication of the rider to train in this setting.

In fact, the background is the Port of Oakland. It is a good place to ride at night since there is almost no activity on these wide open streets at night.
