The trail was difficult to traverse with many stream crossings, scrambling under and over downed trees, crossing boulder fields, and dodging snakes, but we finally made it to a small abandoned mining site. Looking out and away from this seldom traversed side canyon was this splendid snow covered jagged mountain.
