This is aptly named Bench Lake as it sits along the 'bench' of the mountain. This was taken in the Uintas on a short and relatively easy hike originating from Bald Mountain. (Personally, I was exhausted when we got back, but I'm out of shape and it was my first hike of the season).

Those jagged cliffs at the top of that mountain are probably 11,000 or more feet above sea level.
