These little flowers are wonderfully fragant. I had some that popped up in my backyard this year. My husband thought it was a weed. When I saw it I thought if this is a weed I don't care I want to grow these. I went to the natural gardener and I saw something similar to it. I asked the lady working there if these were native to texas and she said this are not and I said I have something similar to this growing wild in my backyard. She said, " what you have is a rain lilly!" I was so happy to know this was not a weed but and actual flowering bulb. What a wonderfull little find in my own backyard. I have transplanted them so they would not get mowed over and now I can enjoy them for a long time.

Our weathercaster featured these a few days ago. I never knew what they were called. You did a great job of showing their beauty.

Nice Shot. In additions to the Lillies, I like the background clouds and the little fly/bee heading in.

Very nice and alive.
