Freeway Lightning I

Freeway Lightning I

No enhancement or sharpening required. Can you guess what this is?

Ok, you pulled my leg...

I take the Freeway Lightning series, while driving down the freeway late at night. I set my camera apeture at 8.0 (as small as possible) and the speed at 15 sec. (as long as possible). I also set the iso at 50 (as low as possible). When all this is set I drive along with the camera next to head (at eye level) and shoot. I don't worry about movement, because this makes the shots interesting. As I flow down the highway, moving in traffic, the camera picks up the lights of passing cars, trucks, signs and street lights.

Every photo is unique.

Try it sometime. Only keep your eye on the road.

I never realised camera shake was an art-form before. Take a bow, Mr Pinetree3 :)
