Hi Tania,

Thank you for commenting. Very lovely animals, this is one of a pair, at the Sacramento zoo, that were born and raised in captivity so they've never known anything else. Still, I always feel sorry for these majestic creatures when I see them behind bars.

Doug. I was looking closely for the layers and realised there was non lol. He is beautiful. They are very comanding creatures arent they. I saw them at the zoo in Sydney Australia. People were teasing them so they were not so relaxed looking. beautiful photo

Beautiful cat with lovely lighting. These are one of my favorites because they tend to gaze right into the lens with those beautiful eyes. Well done.

Ahhhhh..... I found it. Yes indeed that technique does work wonderfully. Now I have a new project to do because of you!!! All in the name of fun. Thanks again.

I appreciate all of your kind comments on my "Snow Leopard" image. Hi Vicki, no layers on this one. The Snow Leopard seemed happy, he was born and raised in captivity and doesn't know anything else. There's a female snow leopard there to keep him company. His large feet help him walk on snow, though he won't get the chance in Sacramento, it doesn't snow there. A beautiful cat, I happened along just as the sun was shining through an opening in the top of the cage directly on his face and head. Shortly after I took this shot he moved to a different spot and the shooting was over. Bottom line here is there's always a lot of luck involved with a shot like this.

Best Wishes, Doug

Great shot. The lighting is perfect for a portrait.

WHAT????? No layers?????? Doug - this is tremendous by itself - it doesn't need any added tweaking - all your elements are together. Beautiful!
