Our Lemon Tree 1

: Our Lemon Tree 1; Lemons on the tree in our back yard. Every year we get a bazillion lemons from this tree. We give them away to all comers. Next to it is a grapefruit tree. Best grapefruit I have ever eaten. We get 1/2 bazillion of those a year. In the front yard is a dwarf Arizona Sweet Orange tree. Sweetest orange there is. We get 1/4 bazillion oranges a year. The trouble is, I grew up in a land of fresh peaches and apricots and plums and cherries. I want those fresh off my own trees too! Can't do that here. Too hot for them. So, you get some of what you want in life, but not all of it.

Right you are. Lucky! Funny thing is, I never even saw a citrus tree of any kind until I was in the Air Force in Florida. I was absolutely fascinated. I couldn't believe that those oranges were just hanging there on the trees.
