These Ladyslippers grow in the woods not in my garden.

We have Lady Slippers growing in our area too. Or we used to when I was young. Many of our favorite flowers have died out due to roads being cut in and trees being cut down. I suppose civilization has to go on but it looks as if people could leave such beautiful places alone!!! *g* A wonderful picture and a great reminder to me of the one I saw long ago! However, it was yellow and they are beautiful too.
