Lace Cap Hydrangea

Lace Cap HydrangeaThis is my Lace-Cap Hydrangea, which was a birthday gift from a very, dear, friend. It is approximately 5 years old and has been a mass of colour this summer.
Lace-Cap Hydrangeas have a flatter bloom than the standard shrub and range in colours, depending on the type of soil you have; a more acidic soil will produce blue blooms, whereas an alkaline soil will yield more pinkish colouring. We have several shrubs, in our garden, which have colours ranging from blue through to pink.
Thanks for looking. :)
