I Love You

Just a bee giving a wild bush bloom a hug. These long blooms turn into long seed pods that sorta look like green beans but really flat and a brown color.

Hi Anne, Thanks very much for your very nice and funny comment. I'm glad you liked my love shot LOL.. I just noticed I did not put the name of the brush, it is called a Catclaw or Catclaw Acacia. If you walk too close to it, it will grab your cloths and won't let go. Here is a page about the Catclaw. www.naturesongs.com/vvplants/catclaw.html

What a terrific love picture!! And the bush apparently tends to hang on to passersby! *g* I think I have met some of their relatives. *g* A great picture and know you are bee-loved by all. *g*

Hi Beverly, Thanks for commenting on my photo. You can't see the needles that are in a curved shape, thus the cat claw name came about. They will catch your cloths and won't let go LOL..

Hey Alex, That wild bush is what we call the Got Ya or "cat claw" but it's real name is I think the Acacia Greggii or Texas Mimosa. If you walk by it and just get too close it will grab your cloths. Here is a page about it. www.schweich.com/imagehtml/3201-20.html

Neat capture, like the colours, this image looks so warm, we are freezing our rears off over here with gale force winds and hail, enjoy your spring/summer.
