This is an oil well christmas tree. It was out in the middle of a cane field. I did not know it would be out there when I went for a walk and saw it. With the price of gas, it is surprising that these things are not guarded but I guess they are guarded in a way. They are out in the middle of the woods where few people would go unless they had business or were interested in taking walks. There is a road that leads to it but you have to look for the road and it is not marked that a christmas tree would be down the road. There is also a gate with a lock on it along the width of the road.
