thanks very much, Alex and Jas, for your nice comments. I realized the cropping isn't the correct method, but wanted to capture the water trailing over the fountain edge as thought it added to the image. Sometimes the rules have to be broken :) - glad that you agreed, Jas, thanks.

This is a lovely shot of the little hummingbird. I especially like how the water trail emanates from it's beak and how you've captured the water splashing over the side of the fountain; a very clear shot. :)

Maybe this little bird is afraid of getting into deeper water as it has no real legs to help it go wading. It is amazing they can survive in the big world! Love the two shots.

So cute to see the Hummer bathing, our ruby throated ones never seem to want to bath but will sit on a branch in the pouring rain.
