This is an example of the houses on Lake Pontchartrain. They are all big and beautiful. This one just resembles an antebellum plantation to me. Antbellum means before the American Civil War. When I took this picture, I was hurting from the little bit of walking I had done and then saw this and thought my hurting was nothing compared to what people did back then.
