this looks so comical, - had never seen 2 herons sitting together before, and they look so grouchy : ) Am wondering if they are Juveniles, perhaps last years youngsters, - and had been told to stay there by the parent birds, for safety's sake. The beak on the heron closest to the camera, looks smaller, infact the heron itself is smaller.
