thankyou Beverly. Had to remove a lot of twigs and branches that were infront of the hawk, including one large one at the top of his chest.(the remains of that one can be seen at each side, probably should've removed more of the branch :) - but began removing twigs from near its tail and forgot to return to the branch at chest level :)
