Trumpet Vine

Trumpet Vine was the last flower I planted on a trellis at my home in Michigan before I became a virtual "gypsy" and started living on the road. It takes a while to get started, but once it takes root it's an avid climber . . . last year I also found out that it's considered to be somewhat of a rogue plant - rather like the insidious Kudzu.

Alandra - you were precisely who I was thinking about when I wrote that. You have such an unquenchable thirst for flowers - your poor hubby - he must be quite a man - thanks for sharing that, my dear friend!

nice macro of the Trumpet Vine, Vicki. Smiling to myself about this, as DH had a terrible time getting rid of the plants we had on our front patio area. It sent shoots up all over the entire area, and he had to dig deeeep trenches to get to the bottom of all the roots, to eradicate it.
