After a much needed pitstop, I began my trek from behind the largest tree I could find back up to the waiting car parked along the side of the forest road. Carefully, I trudged through the damp forest from the recent rain. It was upon this ascent that I gazed upon this solo yellow flower. I could almost hear it whispering to me to share its beauty with you.
