A few blocks from my house is a local fishing spot out on a pier that is the terminus for the Alameda Naval Air Station breakwater. Every afternoon you will find people fishing there. There are a few regulars daily.

This shot was taken of that spot from across a small cove around sunset. The postion of the sun, caused the water to become golden and the subjects to appear backlit. To obtain the shot, I had to extend the both the optical and digital zoom to its near limit.
