Beauty and the Beast IV

Beauty and the Beast IVI have been following everyone's comments regarding the preference in this series for greater exposure to bring out detail in the rock. As these series of shots progressed over nearly half an hour, the light dimmed and I was tempted to use my flash to illumniate the scene. Fortunately, I had a cooperative subject close enough for me to use my flash for a few of the shots. This helped to illuminate the subjects somewhat. Here is one variation using the flash to help with the fill light. One interesting result is how the reflection off the water appears on the egrets body.
