great shot, Fella. hard to do. We had 2 of them "performing" a couple times lately, but didn't capture them. One juvenile was heading straight towards me too, - think he was trying to intimidate me, or either was checking to see what the camera was. Its the juvenile I got the pic of in the tree by the beach. He flew around awhile and then landed back in the same tree again.

Good question Steve, I'd guess he is using the AI servo or one shot focus. I'm curious to find out.

When you take these shots, is your camera tracking focus automatically, or do you pre-focus and fire the shutter at the appropriate moment - which would sound very difficult to me!
