Drift-tree

You've heard of driftwood.......but this is the entire tree! Stripped of its bark, smoothed by the waves & if you look close enough you can see the seaweed twined in its roots. You would almost think it has been uprooted from some undersea forest. This is at Fitzroy Beach in New Plymouth.
