Downtown Tampa, Florida

This view of Tampa was taken from the top floor of the Florida Aquarium and altered subtly with a pencil sketch filter. With the alarming building recession, these two towers are in jeopardy as very few of the high-priced condos have been sold.

Cruise boats leave from elaborate piers to the left of tis image. None were docked on the Tuesday we were there.

I like this shot of Tampa Vicki; lots of nice colours, shapes and textures. I think the pencil sketch filter adds a poster like quality. :)

Hi Mary and Carol. Actually, Mary - those were clouds rolling in. My the time Becki and I left the aquarium the temperature had plummeted and a cold, drizzly rain settled in. Mike dropped us of at the trolley stop in Ybor City and we left our jackets in the truck. Here Becki was, visiting from Michigan for 6 days (it was supposed to be 7, but her 4 hour flight took 2 days to accomplish!), in downtown Miami - freezing! I think it was the incoming storm that gave this image its overall coloration bonus. Vicki
