About the cactus on the left with all of the arms or stems? is a Mojave Cholla. I call them the got ya, or jumping cactus. All you have to do is get close to it and it gets ya. There are many different types of Cholla cactus, there is even a Teddy Bear Cholla. The little short fat guy on the right is a Barrel Cactus.
