Many years ago a resort hotel stood behind me with beautiful grounds where people from New Jersey and New York spent their summers.

The resort has long-since disappeared, but the location is a favorite fishing area for shad and speckled trout.

The Delaware River flows south, with New Jersey to the right and Pennsylvania to the left. The resort town of Bushkill, is just two miles south of this.
