Dartmoor

A Dartmoor Pony, grazing along side a river lined with gorse, out on the moors.

Dartmoor is a National Park, in Devon, and the wild ponies are allowed to roam wherever they please. They are a hardy breed and, in the past, were used in the Tin Mines and Quarries.

Thanks for viewing. :)

Thanks Carol and Golda, am glad you liked this. Dartmoor is very pretty, especially with the ponies but it can be a very bleak area and the weather can change very quickly. You have to be very careful about safety if you think about hiking or the like. :)
