Easter Monday

Easter Monday

A Salomé daffodil facing upwards to the sky on Easter Monday. In my garden in Maryland, daffodils do better than tulips. (I think woodland creatures are eating my tulip bulbs before they have a chance to grow.)

Beautiful shot. I love the way the light it shining on the daffodil. I miss tulips and daffodils and lilacs. Our area is tropical, and we can't grow anything that needs winter cold.

gorgeous daffodil, Jeanne! Had not heard of Salome variety before, sure is lovely. The texture you captured is beautiful. Tulips don't do that well in our garden either, but the daffodils have lasted for years and years, tulips all vanished.
