I took this shot of Sandown Pier, on a summer's evening just as it was getting dusk. As the pier is a structure that was conceived in the 1800's, I have extracted the colour and made this monochrome, to give the impression of age.

The pier is visited by many tourists during the year and has a variety of amusements and games to entertain people, as well as a theatre where celebrities come to perform.
