Cottontail Rabbit

: Cottontail Rabbit; I went walking around the desert by my house and caught this Cottontail off guard. I really enjoy it when I can sneak up on them..; Equipment:

Hi Karen, Thanks very much for your kind comment :) There ears really do light up with the sun shining through them. You can spot them no problem with the red lights on there heads LOL.. It is a challenge getting there photos before they run off, but sometimes they just stand there letting you take there photos.
