Battery Point Lighthouse

Battery Point Lighthouse

This is the Battery Point Lighthouse in Crescent City, California. This is still a working lighthouse and the public is always welcome to visit. You can walk to the lighthouse when the tide is low, just make sure you leave before high tide or you will be walking in water to get back to the beach.

We walked to the lighthouse, spent a good hour or more there, then on our way back I was walking with my camera in knee deep water over rocks. Needless to say I walked very carefully praying that I did not fall down in the water. I made it OK LOL..

Well Alandra, I saved the camera back then, but now I have worn it out and broke the shutter. Well Mary if I remember the other side of the lighthouse there was a lot of water and it would be a really far shot. Wow Jennibob when you move you move. I'm really glad that you got to see something from your old home.
