Thank you Talsi, Whittler, Golda and Alandra, for all your kind words. This storm was quite small and basically damaged trees within a half mile radius. We were at the farthest extreme so not as many trees were damaged. The most damage occurred about a half mile away where a sign was ripped off and a truck trailer was flipped on its side. One house had every tree in its yard damaged. The weather does affect crops. This year has been so wet that farmers are unable to cut hay. Last yeat it was too dry. Glad I am not a farmer!

this is a very eyecatching one in the series, an unusual cloud formation. They are very interesting to watch, - and they change so rapidly, - at least around here they do.

Thank you, Steve, for viewing and leaving encouraging feedback. I liked the dark and light contrasts on the clouds.

A brilliant series of shots, Karen, of which I think this is my favourite. The range of colours in the clouds is remarkable, and you've caught them superbly. It looks as if it's on fire in the middle!
