Château de la Rapée

This is a château in Normandy which is now a hotel. It is supposed to be English in style, but I never saw a house in England like this!

Many thanks Lorraine (belatedly!), Vicki and Mary. I did go into the lobby, Vicki, but didn't take a picture, although I did snap one of our room, which is on here as "Grand bedroom". Mary, the name is exactly as the title to this shot: the hotel's website is www.hotel-la-rapee.com

Interesting shot and architecture Steve. Does the chateau/hotel have a name?...so I can check out the history on google.com :))) Thanks for sharing.

How fascinating, Steve. You didn't go into the lobby - or have I missed an image? It has a gothic feeling to it - but definitiely intriguing. Vicki
