Drive along 55/44 towards Poughkeepsie New York and keep your camera and eyes open. This pulloff was loaded with cars - and nobody around. As I grabbed images including the incredible rock wall holding up the road, the nearby hairpin turn and the vista off to the south east I started hearing voices and followed a trail. I forgot that this area was popular with rock climbers. Look up at the top of the three-frame panorama at left and you will see my stalwart climber and his closeup. I couldn't see to the bottom of the rock face, but the image on the right gives a pretty good idea of how high this chap and his friends were!
