A view of the west front of Lincoln Cathedral, one of England's finest gothic masterpieces. The strange perspective of this image is a result of using an ultra-wide-angle lens. The cathedral is surrounded by other very old buildings, and this picture was taken from only a few yards away. A normal lens would have captured little more than the entrance door!
