Eilan Donan Castle

This was taken at Eilan Donan Castle, one of the most photographed castles in Scotland (the BBC used it as their logo for a while).

I like this picture and have seen a few others of it. Immense and beautiful to look at but I am glad I don't have to keep it clean. *LOL* A wonderful picture and one full of history, I am sure.

I like how you used the "S effect" here to lead to the center object. My eyes were leading to it when I saw it. I also enjoy the center object because it looked so bold and "masculine".

Very nice picture.

The way you set up the walkway actually gives me the sense that I will be stepping there at any moment; the black and white as well as lack of any more modern additions to the scene (if indeed, there were any to photograph) gives it the added archaic feel that evokes fantastic ideas.

I like how you set up the pathway leading up to the castle giving the view a sence that he or she is traveling to the castle yet being an older looking structure combound with the pure fact that it is black and white vs color, it gives the view a sence of forboding and mystery to the scene. Whether or not that is what you were going for when you took and worked with the picture, i don't know, but this is the idea which i got out of it.
