These little Butternut Friends dwell in my co workers office. One day she came to work and found somebody (not me) had given them faces.

Dear I say it - but I'm afraid to say someday soon they will be made into ....PULP! The poor things!

Yes Butternut is yummy with lots of butter and seasoning. Also really yummy on the BBQ with curry spices and coconut.

Buttercup Squash is the typical favourite though in New Zealand.

butternut squash is one of our "faves". we slice them up and cook them in the microwave, serve with lots of butter and s/pepper, yum.
