This boat caught my attention due to the solar panels on top. I have often seen house boats but most of them use generators or some other source of electricity. I thought the solar panels a good idea especially in sunny South Louisiana.

A house boat is also proabably a good idea for something like a hurricane. The house is not stationary and therefore would be less likely to flood.
